Family winery blending McLaren Vale fruit with Italian-influenced winemaking, paired with the acclaimed Little Wolf Osteria on site.
A McLaren Vale family with Italian roots
Mitolo Wines was founded in 1999 by Frank Mitolo, drawing on his Italian heritage to make wines that bridge McLaren Vale fruit and traditional Italian winemaking techniques. The Savitar (Shiraz) and Serpico (Cabernet, made by appassimento / dried-grape method) are among the flagship labels.
Little Wolf Osteria
The cellar door on McMurtrie Road is paired with Little Wolf Osteria, a highly rated Italian restaurant serving pasta, wood-fired dishes and sharing plates designed to match the estate wines. The cellar door and restaurant are a destination in their own right.
